Mortality Monitoring (MOMO)

Automation of the process of ingesting mortality data from civil registries, processing the data, and generating reports and alerts. The objectives were to alert and measure excess mortality and attribute it to causes such as heat waves or influenza epidemics. MOMO received special media attention during the 2020 coronavirus health crisis and was a key project for estimating the real impact of the pandemic on mortality in Spain.

COVID-19 Dashboard

During the COVID-19 crisis, we created a public data dashboard on the status of the pandemic, with infection rates and reproduction rates by region, also reporting to other organizations.

Sentinel Surveillance System for Respiratory Infections

Design and development of a new surveillance system for the endemic phase of COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases such as influenza. The main objective of this software is to unify the data reported by the various health administrations and execute automatic validations and rules for data integrity. The application allows administrators to create these rules and validations with complete flexibility without relying on a technical team. Reports are also generated with the information stored in the system.
