This company converts buildings into smart buildings, installing sensors to measure electricity, gas, water, temperature, and other consumption. All of this data is processed through its own system, Metasys, which is a leader in its sector but only uses raw data without metadata about the buildings. Our solution was to design software separate from Metasys to manage information about the buildings, including their physical structure, sensor distribution, and so on. This software applies technical and business rules for consistent information, improving the ease and efficiency of equipment operations. The software is also responsible for sending this data to a BI system.
